Green Delayed Petcoke – Bulk Carrier Hold Protection

Green petroleum coke is obtained from processing liquid fractions in Delayed Coking Units (UCR). It is a material with high fixed carbon content comprising hydrocarbons and low levels of inorganic compounds. While green delayed petcoke is mostly inert, the oil impurities can be difficult to clean from ships holds. We therefore recommend a hold barrier to protect the steel.
